Robotic measuring instrument for digital templating

Leica iCON iCS50 is a robotic measuring instrument developed for efficient digital templating where flexibility and complex geometry are in focus. The system combines laser-based measurement with the wireless Leica vPen, which makes it possible to measure by touching the measurement point itself – without the need for aiming.

This working method makes iCS50 especially suitable for shiny and reflective surfaces such as glass and polished stone, as well as for irregular shapes and complex contours. The instrument automatically follows the vPen during measurement and ensures stable and precise results, even when moving the instrument.

When should you choose Leica iCON iCS50?
Choose iCS50 when working with complex geometries, inclined surfaces, or materials that are challenging to measure with traditional laser. The solution is ideal where speed, flexibility, and direct work on the object are important.

For more standardized surveying tasks with fixed references, straight lines, and clear measurement points, Leica iCON iCS20 will often be a sufficient and more straightforward alternative.

With Leica iCON trades, measurement data is processed directly on-site, with full visual control in 2D and 3D. Completed DXF files can be transferred directly to CNC machines or further CAD/CAM processing.
