LiSEC glass processing lines for single glass

LiSEC SplitFin is a vertical glass processing concept developed for efficient and flexible processing of flat glass and single glass. The solution is built as a continuous production line where several processing processes are combined into one stable and automated flow – focusing on capacity, precision, and the possibility for future expansion.

The SplitFin concept is modular and assembled from independent machines working in parallel. Depending on production needs, a glass processing line for single glass can among other things consist of:

• Drilling and milling machines for holes, cutouts, and special shapes
• Machines with waterjet for flexible internal processing
• Washing machines for cleaning glass after processing

To achieve short cycle times, SplitFin is built with separate processing stations, where edge processing and internal processing can occur simultaneously. This provides a much more efficient production flow than traditional combination machines, while capacity can be scaled according to needs.

A central advantage of SplitFin is flexibility. The line can be configured with one or more processing stations and later expanded with more machines, increased automation, or higher capacity. The machines can also be operated independently, providing great freedom in both production planning and daily operation.
