Double-sided edge processing machine for glass

Biesse Intermac Edge Pro D F is an advanced double-sided glass edge processing machine, developed for production environments with high demands for quality, precision, and operational safety. The machine is designed for grinding and polishing straight edges, and delivers consistent edge quality and high surface finish – also during continuous operation.

The machine is suitable for processing glass for, among other things, structural facades, railings, interior glass constructions, furniture, shower solutions, and technical glass applications. The solid and precise adjustment system ensures correct angle and accurate parallelism, both for small series and larger production volumes.

Edge Pro D F is available in two versions – Version 10 and Version 12 – with 10 and 12 processing tools respectively. Choosing a version provides different levels of flexibility and capacity, making it possible to adapt the machine to the desired production flow and edge geometry.

The machine handles glass with thicknesses from 4 to 19 mm as standard, with the possibility of processing laminated glass up to 50 mm as an option. Advanced solutions such as automatic adjustment of polishing spindles, oscillating diamond grinding, and Biesse's patented Radiuser technology make it possible to produce precise 45° arrises and radius edges up to 5 mm – without the need for additional machines.

Edge Pro D F is built for long lifespan and stable performance over time, with robust mechanical components and high resistance to water and wear. The machine can be integrated into automated lines and adapted to various infeed and outfeed solutions, depending on the production setup.
