VSL-A is a horizontal automatic cutting machine for laminated glass, developed for efficient and precise processing of safety glass with PVB foil. The machine is designed for continuous operation and can be used both as part of fully automatic production lines and as a standalone solution.
The machine is based on LiSEC's patented SIR technology (Selective Infrared Heating), which provides fast and precise heating of the PVB foil. This significantly increases capacity, reduces energy consumption, and minimizes manual interventions in production.
VSL-A offers different operating modes – output mode and comfort mode – which make it possible to adapt production according to needs. In comfort mode, the cutting of laminated glass occurs largely without operator intervention, while output mode provides extra capacity during periods of high load.
The advanced clamping technology provides high edge strength and helps reduce glass waste, among other things through precise trim cuts down to 20 mm. The machine handles both straight cuts, shapes, and W-cut, and can be delivered with automatic handling and removal of scrap.
VSL-A is available in several sizes and configurations and can be built modularly for future expansion, including with an additional cutting bridge. Integrated safety features such as laser scanners and automatic workspace monitoring ensure safe and efficient operation.
