Per Mordt – through the ages

To understand and know a business, one must also understand its history and development. Therefore, we have gathered here a historical overview of Per Mordt through the ages.

As early as 1911, engineer Per Mordt started his first company. Already in the company's early years, the business was characterized by technical insight, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit, with several patents and agencies within technical solutions. The foundation was laid for a business that early on took the role as a link between technology and practical application.

In the post-war period, in 1946, the company was continued as A/S Ingeniørforretningen Per Mordt. With a clearer organizational foundation and an increasing market, the business developed further with a main focus on sales of glass and technical solutions to professional actors. This period marked the start of a more structured and long-term effort towards industry.

Towards the end of the 1970s, the glass industry gained a foothold in Norway for real. This also became a turning point for Per Mordt. In line with market development, several of the company's central agencies were established during this period – both within craftsmanship and industry. These agencies still form the backbone of the company's product and solution portfolio today.

Over the years, Per Mordt has continuously adapted to market needs and technological development. The business has built its position on professional competence, close customer relationships, and reliable advice. Today, Per Mordt A/S appears as a specialized actor within the glass and stone industry, with six dedicated employees who work purposefully every day to create value for the customers – through knowledge, experience, and comprehensive solutions.
